Our thriving Seniors section is open to all members aged 55 and over.  There is a nominal joining fee of £7.50.

The Seniors play every Tuesday & Thursday, the tee is booked from 0830.  There is a book in the gent’s locker room to register for subsequent weeks, the start sheet is then drawn to ensure sociable golf with different members each week.

You can play in the Senior competitions outside this tee time if it is not convenient, with most of the section going out together, promoting a convivial atmosphere in the clubhouse after the round, for coffee, a snack and talk of what might have been.

Competitions are a mixture of sweeps and trophy competitions, the latter usually being played on Tuesday’s throughout the summer.  In addition there are also “friendly” fixtures played home and away against the Senior sections of other local clubs.

The Senior’s also organise two very well supported opens each year, a Texas Scramble and a Four Ball Better Ball – worth booking early to ensure you get in.
