Visitors are most welcome to use the all the facilities provided in the clubhouse
Rachel Appleby has been our Clubhouse Manager since July 2011. Rachel spent one year working at the Boathouse (Wylam) having previously worked at the club for 6 years.
The team as part of Appleby Fayre provide first class service and top quality food and drinks.
In the large lounge you can enjoy a drink and meal in informal and relaxed surroundings. A full menu is available 7 days a week. We have introduced new lounge and buffet menu's - click on the link's for full details LOUNGE MENU 2011.pdf and BUFFET MENU 2011.pdf
A balcony was added in March 2010 which offers views across the course and Tyne valley.
The dining room, fully refurbished in October 2008 and re-decorated in 2011, can comfortably 
seat up to 55 - suitable for golf societies, family celebrations, business meetings etc. We can provide buffet's a selection of 2, 3 and 4 course meals, including vegetarian alternatives. In the meantime contact Rachel to discuss your requirements.
On Sunday a traditional 2 course lunch + tea / coffee is served for only £8.50 - choice of beef, lamb or pork with new potatoes and fresh vegtables.
Events At The Club
The entertainment programme includes celebration meals / buffets, presentation evenings, live acts and quiz / bingo nights. Details of the events already planned are shown below - but always look out for notices displayed at the clubhouse. BURNS NIGHT SUPPER - Saturday 28th January 2012
The supper includes traditional haggis, neeps and tatties and will be followed by a quiz. Booking is essential
VALENTINE'S NIGHT MEAL - Saturday 11th February 2012
The popular valentine evening meal that will be followed by a romantic themed quiz and bingo.
ST PATRICK'S DAY CELEBRATION - Saturday 24th March 2012
Celebration dinner followed by quiz and bingo - wear something green.
MOTHER'S DAY - SUNDAY LUNCH - Sunday 18th March 2012 Make Mother's Day extra special with a perfect lunch.
EASTER SUNDAY LUNCH - Sunday 8th April 2012 Enjoy Easter Sunday and treat the family to a special lunch.
ST GEORGE'S DAY CELEBRATION - Saturday 21st April 2012 A special evening meal followed by themed quiz and bingo.
QUIZ & BINGO
The next Quiz and Bingo evenings will be Saturday 24 March 2012 The defending champions are Invincibles who won the February quiz. Further quiz nights are planned for Saturday 21st April
